As a winner of Young Guns 23 Greenpoint’s very own editor Ben Schwaeber sat down with The One Club to give us a little insight into his process. “I’ve always loved to edit. In school, I was the one volunteering to cut my friends’ projects, and I made a hobby of ripping videos from YouTube and re-cutting them to very unfitting music. I wish those still existed, but they’ve all been rightfully removed due to copyright reasons.” Ben revealed.
“If I really psychoanalyze it, I think I’ve always been a little addicted to the feeling of sending over a first pass. Everyone who works on a project before it gets to me is taking some sort of gamble that their vision will come to life in post. It’s a unique feeling to be the one who gets to show them the outcome.” Read his full interview here.
